  • Title: “SU-8 microfluidic system integrated in a microlaboratory for biological fluids analyses”. Project duration: May 2005 to April 2007. Funding Entity: School of Engineering (IN2TEC Program), University of Minho (funding 10.000 €) and Algoritmi Centre (funding 10.000 €).

  • Title: “Lab-on-a-chip with fluid acoustic microagitation”. Project duration: July 2007 to December 2010. Funding Entity: FCT, PTDC/BIO/70017/2006 (Total funding 83.000 €).

  • MAP - Microchip Analizador de Proteinas, Funding Entity: QREN-ADI, Project duration March 2009 to May 2011. Global budget 512563,95€; budget for UMinho 269406,32 €). (Coordinator from Universidade do Minho).

  • Module "MyLab - Development of a portable commercial prototype for obtaining biological fluids laboratorial data on-chip" of "MyHealth" project, Funding Entity: QREN-ADI, Project duration: September 2011 to August 2014 (Coordinator from Universidade do Minho of "MyHealth": Nuno Sousa).

  • Title: “Microsystem with integrated spectroscopy and (bio)sensors for the detection of gastrointestinal dysplasia”. Project duration: April 2012 to July 2015. Funded by FEDER funds through the "Eixo I do Programa Operacional Fatores de Competitividade (POFC) QREN, project reference COMPETE: FCOMP-01-0124-FEDER-020241, and by FCT- Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, project reference PTDC/EBB-EBI/120334/2010. Budget 104 000,00€.

  • “CEMicro – Skill network MicroManufacturing”. 040/7.1/ADI/NOR. Project duration: 20 June 2006 to 19 July 2008. Project in cooperation with several Portuguese companies in the microinjection moulding area. This project was on-going when she joint to it.

  • NANO/NMed-SD/0156/2007 - SIMBIO - Smart joint implants using bionanocomposites, Projecto Ibérico FCT/MEC, Nanotechnology Projects Call, 2007. Project duration January 2009 to September 2011. Budget 279633,80€.

  • PTDC/SAU-BEB/100392/2008 - Wireless biomedical microsystem for neural implants. Funding Entity: FCT, Project duration: May 2010 to April 2013. Budget 180 000,00€.

  • NFCE - New functions for the endoscopic capsules, Funding Entity: QREN-ADI, Project duration January 2010 to December 2012 (Budget 877.620,87 €).

  • PTDC/CPE-PEC/122329/2010 - Remote Physiological Systems (RePhyS) Laboratory: a didactic learning environment. Project duration: January 2012 to December 2013. Budget 82 000 € (Member of team – 15%).

  • PTDC/CTM-NAN/121038/2010 - X-ray microdetectors based on CMOS tecnology. Project duration: January 2012 to December 2014. Budget 141 755 € (Member of team – 15%).

  • PhotonicPill/ADI/33914/PhotonicPill, UM Budget: 351.000,00 €. Start: 1st July 2013. End: 30 June 2015, Member of team – 15%.

  • “(NEXT-SEA) Next generation monitoring of coastal ecosystems in a scenario of global change.” NORTE-01-0145-FEDER-000032. Project Duration: January 2016 to December 2018. Funding Entity: FEDER-NORTE2020, (Member of team – 50%).
